Today’s board channels my longtime obsession with pomegranates, arguably the most romantic fruit in existence. Held sacred by many of the world’s religions, the luscious pomegranate is often considered to be a symbol of abundance and the lastingness of marriage, so I can’t think of a more fitting fruit to incorporate into a wedding. Pomegranates are in season from September to February, so they’re a perfect choice for fall or winter brides.
The mood of this board? Dramatic romance meets the refinement of a historic country estate. The striking red dress is from Vera Wang’s latest collection of bold bridal gowns in various shades of deep red (think garnet and oxblood).
