Today’s board was inspired by Myra Callan’s brand new bridal line. Myra is the beloved creator of Twigs & Honey, which produces some of the most exquisite handmade bridal accessories we’ve ever seen. Made locally in Portland, Oregon, her new bridal dress and cover-up line is equally mesmerizing. In fact, it’s pinch-me-to-make-sure-I’m-not-dreaming pretty. Exuding an aura of soft sweetness and timeless sophistication, the collection features clean lines, solid silhouettes, and flattering fits. The gown we chose to feature, “Viola,” is a playful and whimsically ethereal creation constructed out of silk organza. The layers are gathered and hand-crinkled for a beautifully distressed touch. We’re especially fond of the elegant velvet ribbon ties on the sleeves. The ribbon ties come in black, off-white, or robin’s egg blue.
So what did we choose to pair with this light and airy gown that has a hint of mysteriousness? This homemade dark chocolate chiffon cake with fluffy rosewater frosting from Sweetapolita; a black diamond ring from Rust; this 1957 edition of Jane Eyre; a spectacular dahlia and rose centerpiece designed by Saipua; and Salty Dog cocktails, which consist of grapefruit juice and vodka served in salt-rimmed glasses.

Such a gorgeous board! I love the rosewater inspiration. It pairs so well with the darker shades. I love every detail.
Absolutely beautiful inspiration board with a gorgeous color scheme! And I’m such a huge fan of Myra Callan’s new bridal line…the Viola dress is truly amazing!
I love the light and dark contrast. It’s chic without being overly girly!
OMG you always have the most creative and perfect names for your inspiration boards! I need some of your creative mojo!!!
Aw, so sweet of you to say! I’ve always thought that I was a bit lazy with my board names. Alliteration is kind of my crutch!
I really love your mood boards, Lauren. This one is gorgeous!!
Thank you so much, Esther! I’m so glad that they’re appreciated. :)
I love this! It’s girly, but not strictly in a pretty, pretty princess way. :)
