When we spotted this ornate black and gold wedding cake, painstakingly designed after the Titanic’s grand staircase, we knew we had to build an inspiration board for it! Although it’s representative of the style of the time, Art Nouveau (sensuous, curvilinear, and flowery), we decided to add Art Deco elements, which reflect a more streamlined, geometric aesthetic, as well as some Baroquish flourishes for good measure. Who says time periods can’t mix and mingle?!

Mad about the black diamond ring and grand staircase cake. Visions of Leonardo….
