Today we played matchmaker for neon and pastel, as we’ve always had a hunch that these two were meant for each other, despite seemingly clashing personalities. Opposites attract after all, right? We’ve seen the pairing pop up on the runway and in home décor editorials, and we think it’s a winner. Acid yellow, which has a decidedly retro vibe, keeps the soft pastel shades from coming across as Easter-eggy. The color palette as a whole exudes a youthful and modern feel. Plus, the sign, which is actually a laser-cut acrylic cake topper, hits all the right notes with a line from the Beatles’ first single, “Love Me Do,” released in 1962.
